3rd offense for being disruptive. |
You will draw people to
your cooperation and team spirit. You
develop life skills that easily transfer the work place. |

Students shall not sleep in
class or bring food into the lab. |
Schedule a teacher and/or
parent conference with possible referral to the counselor’s office. |
You get the needed
information to carry out your assignments on time and perform better

There is no tolerance for cheating
on tests and assignments. |

Receive good grades or
self-assessment of your weaknesses for retest, more teacher focus or tutoring. |

PROCEDURES |

Tardy Policy |
Enter the room quietly,
sign the book, and take your seat without talking especially if a lecture is
in progress. You shall get your book
and supplies once the class breaks for lab.

|
Get your textbook, folder,
and complete the bell ringer on the black board while waiting for the bell to
ring or class to start. |
|
End of Period |
Log off, put textbook on
shelf, return any supplies, three-hole punch your
work then bind it into the folder in date order. Place the folder in the grading basket and
return to your seat. Please do not
stand by the door in violation of emergency procedures. The teacher shall dismiss the class. |
|
Absences |
Get missed assignments from
the syllabus, fellow students, or teacher during lab time or at the end of
class. Turn in all assignments within district
guidelines. |
|
Class Time |
Use class time
productively. Expect to remain in
class the entire time unless called out to the office or on a field
trip. |
|
Headings on Papers |
Every paper shall have a
typed heading with your Name, Class name with period, Date and Assignment. |
|
Textbooks & Equipment |
Each student shall be
responsible for the assigned computer and textbook. Check your equipment and textbook at the
start of the lab. Report any damage and/or
missing textbook. |
|
Computer Use |
The student shall return
the signed Policy of Acceptable Use of Computers and Networks for computer
access. Internet use shall only be for classroom
assignments as designated by the teacher.
Music, email and game site access shall only be for instructional
purposes and under the direct supervision of the teacher. CHAT ROOMS and SOCIAL NETWORKS are off
limits and partially meet the |

Classroom Visitors |
Students shall be well
mannered when visitors are in the classroom.
Well mannered means raise your hand and wait for recognition, stay
focused on your work, stay in your seat, remain quiet and most of all do not
interrupt the teacher when the visitors are talking. |

School Announcements |
Students shall be quiet
during announcements so classmates and the teacher hear important messages. |
|
Substitute Teachers |
Students shall follow all
the rules and procedures as usual with expectation of good behavior and
respect. A report of student
misbehavior results in a call home and discipline referral. |
