Welcome to LaPoynor Elementary. The faculty and staff are very excited about the 2008-2009 school year. There have been many positive changes made throughout our campus and we are certain that our students will find them beneficial. Our teachers are diligently working with students as they take advantage of every educational opportunity. We will begin a new Math program for Pre-K through 5th grade this year. We will continue using our successful Accelerated Reading Program. We anticipate excellent results throughout the year in all subjects. We are very proud of our school and our students. I hope that you will join me as I encourage and support our students to make this a very successful school year. I invite you to become a part of “the village” it takes to see that each student becomes all that they can be.
