Every Student Succeeds Act  (Title I Part A, Title II Part A, Title IV Part A)

In December 2015, President Obama enacted the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) which replaced No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  Funding is provided under this piece of legilstation to support student success, promote hiring and retaining highly qualifed educators and engage parents as full partners in their child(s) education.  LaPoynor ISD receives funding on a yearly basis through ESSA.  There are additional resources located on the Parent & Family Engagement webpage as well.
