When is Mini Cheer Camp?
Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Monday, December 16th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

How much is Mini Cheer Camp and when is my money due?
$30 for each participant
We accept cash or check. Please make checks payable to LaPoynor Cheer. Money is due by Tuesday, November 19th by 9:00 am to receive a t-shirt and bow. We will accept participants after the due date, but you will not receive a t-shirt and bow. All money is non-refundable after Tuesday, November 19th at 9:00 am. Please turn in money to your homeroom teacher. Jr. High turn in money into the High School office.
We are offering pom poms to buy this year as well! These poms are a 2-color plastic pom (youth/small pom). If your child would like a pair of pom poms, they will be $15! This is not mandatory, but I do need payment for them when you turn in your money Tuesday, November 19th. So with poms, your total for Mini Cheer Camp would be $45.
What grades can participate in Mini Cheer Camp?
1st through 6th grade
What should my child wear to Mini Cheer Camp?
Camp t-shirt (which will be provided at mini cheer camp), shorts/leggings, tennis shoes, and hair pulled back out of their face.
When is the Mini Cheer Camp performance?
Tuesday, December 17th during the half time of the varsity boys' basketball game. This is our pink out game! Only those who wear their Mini Cheer Camp shirt will be permitted into the game free of charge.
Your Mini Cheer Camp Cheerleader will learn proper motion techniques, jumps, basic stunts, two chants and a dance! They will also get to meet the High School and Junior High Cheerleaders and enjoy fun games and activities! Please pack your child a lunch on Saturday and a light snack for mini cheer camp and send the snack to school with them. We will NOT be responsible for making sure snacks get to your child after they get to school. Parents and siblings are NOT allowed to stay for Mini Cheer Camp. We ask that the parents come the last 15 minutes of camp on Saturday, December 14th to see what your child has learned and to take pictures! All Mini Cheer Camp Cheerleaders are to be picked up at 2:00 pm sharp on Saturday the 14th and 5:30 pm sharp on Monday the 16th! Our Mini Cheer Camp Cheerleaders will perform at the home game on Tuesday, December 17th during the half time of the varsity boys game! Please do NOT drop off your child for the performance! If they are to participate, you MUST stay with them at the game! We will have a section on the far side of the gym for them to sit! All mini cheer camp cheerleaders wearing their t-shirts will be admitted into the game for free. Adults must pay regular admission. The cheerleaders and I want to thank each of you who are participating in Mini Cheer Camp this year! We have so much fun sharing the love of our sport with kids!
If your child is involved in Little Dribblers, they are free to come and go (with a parent) to attend their games that Saturday!
