I’ve heard the question many times: “Why are yearbooks so expensive?” And I get it—truly. With prices rising across the board, yearbooks haven’t been spared. The cost of printing, materials, and production continues to climb, and unfortunately, that affects what we pay to preserve these memories.

But here’s the truth: without your support, yearbooks could eventually disappear. And that would be a real loss—not just for our students today, but for generations to come. LaPoynor ISD has proudly produced yearbooks since 1941. That’s over 80 years of school history, friendships, milestones, and unforgettable moments captured in print.

I know times are tough, and I sympathize deeply with every family feeling the pinch. But if you're able, I encourage you to consider purchasing a yearbook. Your children love flipping through those pages—reliving the laughter, the achievements, and the memories that make their school experience so special.
