On September 5th, our cafeteria was overflowing with love, laughter, and generations of Flyer pride during our heartwarming Grandfriends Lunch! 🥪🎉

Students welcomed their grandparents and special guests to join them for a delicious lunch—and the turnout was absolutely incredible! From shared stories to sweet hugs, it was a beautiful reminder of the bond between our students and the amazing people who cheer them on every day. 🫶

Whether it was giggles over chocolate milk or proud smiles across the table, this event was packed with unforgettable moments. 💫

LaPoynor’s first graders took a giant leap toward their futures during our Career Exploration Day—and it was nothing short of inspiring (and adorable)! 💫

From astronauts to artists, veterinarians to firefighters, our young Flyers dressed up as who they want to be when they grow up—and let’s just say, the future is looking bright 🌟

Thanks to the amazing efforts of Mrs. Crutchfield and Mrs. Thompson, students got to meet real-life professionals who shared what they do every day, how they got there, and why they love their jobs.

It was a day filled with big dreams, curious minds, and lots of giggles. Whether they were rocking lab coats or tool belts, our first graders showed us they’re ready to take on the world—one career at a time! 💼✨

Our LaPoynor FFA Officers brought the farm to the classroom and gave our elementary students a hands-on peek into the exciting world of livestock showing! 🚜✨

From fluffy rabbits to moo-ving cows, students got up close and personal with a whole lineup of animals—including chickens, goats, pigs, and more. Our students learned all about animal care, responsibility, and how they too can become future showmen and showwomen in the livestock ring!

It was a day full of wide eyes, curious questions, and maybe a few surprised squeals (those pigs can be chatty!). 🐷💬

🎉 Shoutout to Mr. Dickson and our incredible FFA team for organizing this unforgettable experience. You planted seeds of passion and pride in our young Flyers—and we can’t wait to see them shine in future shows!

Who says you can't dance before breakfast? On September 10th, our amazing Student Council turned an ordinary morning into a full-on dance party—with donuts as the prize! 🎶✨

Secondary students were challenged to bust a move in exchange for a sweet treat, and let’s just say… they DELIVERED. From shy shuffles to bold breakdancing, our gym was filled with laughter, music, and some seriously impressive footwork. 🍩

👏 Shoutout to Mrs. Storey and her energetic StuCo crew for organizing this fun event. It was the perfect way to kick off the day with smiles, sugar, and school spirit!

What a powerful and uplifting morning as students, staff, and families gathered together for See You At The Pole. United in prayer, we lifted up our school, community, and nation with hearts full of faith and hope.

📖 We were blessed to hear an inspiring message from Jorge Gonzales, who spoke on the book of Habakkuk and the importance of praying through difficult times.

🎶 The atmosphere was made even more special thanks to Reese Dean and Aaron Cook, who led us in worship with beautiful guitar playing and heartfelt singing.

🙌 And a very special thank you to FCA Sponsor Shaine Snyder for helping organize this wonderful event.

Our amazing Health Science CTE students took a hands-on approach to teaching 1st graders the importance of proper handwashing! 💧🖐️

Our high school and junior high cheer squads brought the spirit as they hosted an unforgettable Mini Cheer Camp for our elementary students! 💜📣

From jumps to big smiles, these future cheer stars learned a routine that they proudly performed at Tuesday’s pep rally and basketball game on September 30th—and let’s just say, the crowd went wild! 🏀🔥

Watching our little Flyers cheer alongside the big kids was a heartwarming reminder of what makes LaPoynor so special. 💫

👏 Huge shoutout to our cheer coach, Kiley Nachtrieb, and cheerleaders for mentoring the next generation of spirit leaders. And to our elementary students—y’all crushed it!

🎉 Last Friday, our amazing Student Council brought the refreshments and the smiles as they showed love and appreciation for our incredible secondary staff! 🥤

Teachers and staff were treated to a surprise drink drop-off, courtesy of our thoughtful StuCo members, who made sure everyone felt seen, celebrated, and caffeinated! 💜✨

A huge shoutout to these student leaders for spreading joy—and to their fabulous sponsor, Mrs. Storey, for guiding the magic behind the scenes. You all made Friday feel like a mini holiday!

Our Student Council took off with their monthly Flight Crew Greeters tradition—welcoming elementary car riders with high-fives, big smiles, and even bigger inflatable costumes! 🦒🦈

From sharks to giraffes, our StuCo members brought the energy and made drop-off a blast for our younger students. The joy on their faces said it all—who wouldn’t love being greeted by a giant pink shark??
