Our junior high students are diving into Newton’s Laws of Motion in Mrs. Baker’s science classroom! From exploring how forces work to hands-on experiments that make physics come alive, these young scientists are discovering the principles that keep our world moving.

On November 10th, our elementary campus participated in National Young Readers Day! Students were treated to special story times with “celebrity” readers who visited classrooms to share their love of reading.

Our readers included staff members, PTO volunteers, and even high school students from Ms. Bristow’s Education CTE classes!

One of our favorite traditions took place on National Young Readers Day—the Book Character Parade! Our elementary students showed off their creativity by dressing up as their favorite book characters, and they did not disappoint!

From The Lorax to Fancy Nancy, Spiderman, and so many more characters, the halls were filled with imagination and excitement. This event is a wonderful way to celebrate reading and bring stories to life!

Thank you to our families for helping make this day so special. We love seeing our students’ enthusiasm for books shine through!

What a great turnout for Opening Night at LaPoynor Park! Thank you to all the families, fans, and community members who came out to support our junior high baseball and softball team!

And to make the evening even better, both our softball and baseball teams won against New Summerfield! 💜 Way to go Flyers and Lady Flyers!!

On November 11th, LaPoynor ISD proudly hosted our annual Veterans Day Program, and what a meaningful celebration it was! We came together as a community to honor the incredible men and women who have served in our armed forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication remind us of the true meaning of service.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event so special:

✨ Ms. Kiley Nachtrieb – for planning and organizing such a memorable program.

✨ Mrs. Kinabrew, our talented culinary teacher, and her amazing students – for preparing and serving a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed.

✨ Ms. Bristow, floral design teacher, and her creative students – for crafting beautiful floral arrangements that added an elegant touch to the event.

✨ Shaine Snyder and the NHS and Flag Committee students – for their performance and speeches that truly captured the spirit of the day.

We are so proud of our students and staff for coming together to honor our veterans. Thank you to all who attended and helped us celebrate these heroes. 💙❤️

On November 13th, the LaPoynor Athletic Booster Club hosted our annual Fall Meet the Flyers event! It was a great evening as our community came together to celebrate and support our talented student-athletes.
