🚁✨ Career on Wheels 2026 was a HUGE success! ✨🚁
Posted Date: 10/27/26 (12:00 PM)
On October 22nd, our students got a firsthand look at some incredible career opportunities available after high school! From public safety and healthcare to trucking, wildlife conservation, skilled trades, and higher education, students learned from professionals who shared their experiences and passion for their careers.
And let's be honest... the highlight for many students was seeing a helicopter land right on campus! 🚁🤩
A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing guests who took time out of their busy schedules to invest in our students:
👏 Henderson County Sheriff's Office - Matt Jistel & Brigan Johnson
👏 LaRue Volunteer Fire Department
👏 UT Health Ambulance - Shawn Hernandez
👏 UT Health Helicopter - Air 1
👏 Texas Parks and Wildlife
👏 Texas DPS - Trooper Sharp
👏 TVCC - John Mason
👏 Keys and Locks Locksmith - Mike Bowman
👏 Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center - Natalie Goldstrohm
👏 Republic Services - James Ray, Eric Wiltshire, & Dave Humphries
👏 4M Trucking - Sandy & Melissa
We are so grateful for each of you for helping inspire the next generation and showing our students the many paths available to them after graduation 💜✈️🎓
A very special thank you goes to Mr. Tauber, Mrs. Holcomb, and Officer Daniels for all of the hard work behind the scenes organizing this event and coordinating with our guests. Your help made this day an unforgettable experience for our students!
